How to Choose a Stroller

If you’re like most parents, you’ll want to get at least one stroller for your baby.  But what’s the best stroller for your baby, family and lifestyle?  When looking for a stroller for your baby, consider the following:

  1. What kind of terrain will you be strolling on?
  2. Do you have to load and unload it out of a car often?
  3. Do you have to carry it up and down a lot of stairs?
  4. Do you want a stroller that can hold your newborn either with a bassinet or an infant adapter for your car seat?
  5. Is there a big difference between you and your partner’s height?
  6. How easy is the stroller to keep clean?
  7. What kinds of accessories are important to you?
  8. What kind of shade does it provide?
  9. Does the stroller only fit one kind of car seat, or is it universal?
  10. Can you get away with one stroller or do you need more?

About welcomebabysl

Welcoming a newborn baby into your home is an overwhelming experience. Like other first-time parents, you are probably experiencing feelings of excitement and anticipation, as well as anxiety and uncertainty. The next few years of your child's life are very critical, and parents play a vital role in promoting healthy growth and development. Because children don’t come with a user’s manual, parents are left to follow their instincts, rely on previous knowledge, research the answers or ask family and friends for advice. It is definitely a learning experience, but not one that has to be done alone. Welcome Baby offers several different levels of support to first-time parents.
