Family Baking Day

Cookies

One tradition my kids have looked forward to from the time they were very young was our Holiday Baking Day.  This is a day set aside to bake our favorite cookies, brownies, fudge, peanut brittle, etc.  You name it, we made it.  We always like to throw in a new recipe or two.

If this is something you are interested in giving a try, take a couple of days and gather all the recipes (let the kids decide what they want to create), ingredients and supplies.  Once the day arrives but on your favorite Christmas music and bake away.  If your kids are young, help them pick out a movie to watch where they can still be close if you actually involved.

Enjoy!

About welcomebabysl

Welcoming a newborn baby into your home is an overwhelming experience. Like other first-time parents, you are probably experiencing feelings of excitement and anticipation, as well as anxiety and uncertainty. The next few years of your child's life are very critical, and parents play a vital role in promoting healthy growth and development. Because children don’t come with a user’s manual, parents are left to follow their instincts, rely on previous knowledge, research the answers or ask family and friends for advice. It is definitely a learning experience, but not one that has to be done alone. Welcome Baby offers several different levels of support to first-time parents.
