In honor of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2nd we read his book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
We did this fun craft after reading the book:
Trace each child’s hands from the following colors:
1- yellow paper
1- green paper
1- red paper
1- blue paper
Cut the hand prints from the papers and paste the alternating hands with glue on blue paper (to represent water).
Add the text: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.
Draw the faces on the fish and let the child decorate their fish if they want with crayons or markers.
